Sports Visit Visa

The Sports Visit Visa is designed for amateur and professional sportspersons, including individuals and teams, as well as their technical or support staff and sports officials, who wish to visit the UK to engage in permitted unpaid sporting activities for up to 6 months.

This visa is a sub-category of the Standard Visitor route, allowing temporary stays in the UK for up to 6 months but does not lead to settlement. Each visitor must apply separately, even when traveling as part of a group.
